Michael Schacter, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist at Big Sky Psychological Consortium (BSPC). He provides individual therapy to adults and adolescents that is informed by psychodynamic and multicultural theories. His interests and areas of experience include:

Dr. Schacter completed his doctoral training at Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, WA, his pre-doctoral internship at Montana State University (MSU) Counseling and Psychological Services in Bozeman, MT, and his postdoctoral training at BSPC. His clinical training focused on providing individual, couples, and group therapy; crisis intervention; substance use interventions; and adult assessments for Learning Disorders and ADHD. Additional training occurred at Washington State Penitentiary, where he provided psychological evaluations to help determine offenders’ mental health and placement needs. Prior to graduate school, he worked with underserved individuals experiencing mental health crises at a residential hospital diversion program.
